How to copy the color in essential graphics onto another essential graphics clip

Hello, I am trying to copy the exact same color of a text I have done on to another essential graphics clip, this would save me a lot of time as I don't have to go back and find the same exact tone of color every time. I have tried with the copy and paste attributes tool but nothing happens.

Does anyone know why it is not working? or if there is another way I can do this?

Besides the other two ways, both of which work of course (and the master style is rather useful) you can also click in a color block for the fill or stroke, then use the eyedropper to click on a color, even in another frame.

There's always at least three ways to do something if there's one.
