How to create an animated mask using the Pen Мask Tool

The Object Mask tool does a very poor job of cutting out the object from the video. I want to manually select the object and perform tracking, but the tracking isn't working. The tracking points stay in place and don't follow the moving object.How can I manually select an object and make the tracking follow it instead of staying in place? as it was in version 25.  I'm so tired of you making simple things so complicated😕
