How to do smoother file sharing

This is sort of a niche problem. I'm part of a video production team.

1 person films the projects, merges the audio and video and shares them via Google Drive via media encoder.

THE PROBLEM IS, Media encoder creates a bunch of temporary files during the process, uploads all the temp files during the process, then deletes them, but because it does this Google Drive tries to sync the temp files then deletes the sync files sometimes causing problems with the syncing.

Is it possible to have it where ONLY the final product is places in the final location? Is there some settings or something to help speed up this process?

TLDR: is there a way for adobe premier/media encoder only put the final product in the output folder VS all the temporary files, its causing issues with my folder sharing

I would render the media to any local folder and when done, manually move them to the cloud folder/final location. This works everytime and will only have the final product in the correct place.

I understand this, but I'm hoping for an automated version of this, since we are working in big volume.

Hi!

Are you on a Windows or MacOS system? If you're working on a Windows system, you can try the free version of Power Automate from the Microsoft Store. I tested a process where as soon as I close Adobe Media Encoder, the files from my "Watch Folder" are transferred to the "Drop Folder" (where Google Drive syncs all files). It seems to work reliably for me, but I have only tested it a few times (with one or two files at a time). Let me know if this workflow would be handy for you.

Instead of creating new files just to sync video and audio, have you considered syncing them directly in Premiere Pro?

You can do this using Clip > Create Multi-Camera Source Sequence. Once synced, you can share the project file rather than spending extra time and storage on encoding and uploading new files.
