How to extract the RGB Curves effect, corresponding to the Auto Color or any other effect for given scene

Dear Adobe Pro's,

If I applied some effect over my video footage, say "Auto Color", I could see how it influences the RGB parade. I could achieve the very same RGB parades' shape by simple playing with the "RGB Curves" effect.

Is there a way to avoid this playing, because for a lot of scenes it's not a game anymore...

Is there a technique to automatically get the "RGB Curves" effect, which produces the same RGB parade, as the "Auto Color" effect for the given scene?

I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and

I like very much the Auto effects, but in a fast changing underwater conditions the result is flickering. I've played with all of the effects' properties, but I couldn't avoid that flickering. The "Blend with original" reduces the visual performance, which I need. The "Temporal smoothing" is not that good, as I need as well. Hence - a lot of manual work with "RGB Curves".

Thanks very much in advance for any good ideas!!

    Correct answer Ann Bens

Most of us would advise against using the auto effects, as they often dont give the desired effect.

If using RGB curves on a clip and most of the rest of the clips are the same you could use copy/paste attributes.

    Or use a adjustment layer.

There is no automatic way to do this. Welcome to the world of color grading.

    Thanks, Ann Bens!

For the answer and for welcoming as well - I know what you mean ☺️

This is exactly what I'm doing, regarding the copy/paste. But my scenes are very dynamic, a lot of manual adjustments are needed for a lot of small portions of many clips. The auto effects suits me well for a reference at the least and I was searching for a way to convert an effect to the  RGB Curves effect. This could spare me some time.
