how to find and delete premiere pro projects

how do i find and delete unwanted projects?  i have some projects that are just stuck in the main premiere pro page.  after trying everything i can think of to find in explorer, i looked on youtube.  so far, everyone showing how has a mac.  my windows system doesn't show the same options.  this is really annoying that projects are hidden deep inside some non obvious location.  this may be second nature to people with PP experience, but for me, it has gotten to the point of frustration.  i klnow this program does great things, but if i can't find and manage projects, it kind of becomes useless to me.
