Question

How To Fit a Video to the Frame

Sorry for the basic question, I'm new to Premiere Pro and I can't find a good answer on Google.

I have a normal sized video that I need to edit and upload for Snapchat, so the size needs to be 1080x1920. I created a new sequence with the correct dimensions, now I just need to know how to make my video fill the frame. Clicking "scale to frame size" did nothing. Thanks in advance for any help on this.

What is a "normal sized video" - what is the size of what you are editing?

If you use "Scale to Fill" on export it will help to reduce the black bars

- Warning! this MAY make your video look "odd" since you are "stretching" things

The video I'm editing is 1280x720.

I guess the better question would be is there any way I can size it into a Snapchat ad video without it looking stretched

1080x1920 means portrait, 1280x720 is landscape. So is 1920x1080.

Hence the odd looking image.

Do you need portrait or landscape.
