How to get multiple clips to shorten and fit within certain parameters?

Hey, I am wondering if it is possible to select all of these clips, and shorten them (keeping them together with no space between) to fit between the markers I have (I have circled in orange in the attached photo).

Thanks for any assistance with this or ideas.

It's 'gap' not 'gaps'. What version are you using, (it's available in Help/About). The default colors have been changed to blue some time ago. It looks like the old color scheme?

Thanks for replying. The same 2 options appear when I type in "gap" also.

The version I have is Adobe Premiere CC version 7.0.0

Yes, you can select the clips and right click on them and choose Speed/Duration (Ctrl+R/Cmd+R) and in the dialog set the length and most important check the Ripple Edit, Shift Trailing Clips.

When I try this,

It places them together, but there are still gaps between the others. Do you know how this can be overcome?

Hmm, i tested it in Premiere Pro 13.1.5 before i posted. I re-tested today and used multiple layers with different duration on some clips and that gave me the very same result.

What you can do with the gaps now is to lock all tracks but one and right clicking and choose Ripple Delete to close each gap. Yes, tedious and time consuming.
