How to import text in a .csv file to update multiple text graphics on a sequence?

Question

Hi, I'm editing a traning video which needs to be translated into multiple languages.

The video has lots of animated text sections in English. Theses sections need to be updated with the relevant translation e.g. French

I can export all of the text on the timeline as a .csv file - which gives the time codes and English text.

How can i import another .csv file that has the time codes and e.g. French translations to automatically replace all of the english text on the timeline? Is it possible?

If i go to the Text>Graphics tab - I can see all of the text and update each one individually, but this is time consuming and slow.

Is there a way to update all of the text automatically?

@Gunsmoke I do not thnk that Adobe Premiere Pro have a "Import CSV to Replace Existing Graphics" button for standard text layers or basic Essential Graphics. You can try the automation by using Motion Graphics Templates (.mogrts) or the Captions workflow, which do support bulk data.

This tutorial, Add Motion Graphic templates to a sequence explains how to link a CSV to a template so that the text updates automatically based on the spreadsheet. And for creating captions, handle the timecode-based text replacement using the Captions panel.
