How to keep the source audio volume?

Hey guys!!

I'm new to Adobe Premiere Pro and i'm using Adobe Premiere Pro 2020.

I have a few videos that i want to custom but when i putted them in sequence timeline (maybe) and audio volume is changed, it more like volume wasn't the same as with the source (original) video, it was a lot lower than the volume of the source (original) videos. The audio volume in the original video is way better.

Can you guys show me how to keep the original volume of the video when i put it in the timeline?

P/s: my English isn't good then

please tell us the properties of the source audio. select the clip in the bin or in the timeline and control click and choose... wait for it... properties. and how did you create the sequence? if you select the audio in the timeline and go to effects controls, what is the audio level setting? If you want to match the original level, it should be set to 0db

I'm not exactly sure why the volume would be changing (is the volume turned up beyond 100% in the viewer you are using?) However, you can try adjusting the gain once the clip is in your sequence. Right click>Audio Gain or keyboard shortcut 'G'. You can try normalizing it to a value that works for you or just by adjusting the gain. If the original audio source isn't actually that loud, then you would risk introducing some noise into it.

Hey!!

I did exactly as you said!! And the audio volume after that was nothing like the original video. But, it did get louder.

I used my friend Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018. It worked perfectly fine. The volume didn't change. It was still the same as the volume of the orginal video
