How to make words come out of a box in premiere?

Hi,

does anyone know how to make the words look like they're coming out of this gift box, instead of from under it? in Premiere.

Legend

You place a shape in front of the box, used to mask the text, so that the text is hidden until it is supposed to appear.

Work with the layer order of the box, masking shape & text until it works.
