Question

How to pull multi-cam sequences into timeline as separate tracks?

I have searched every term I can think of to try and find an answer for this. I'm on Premiere Pro 2024, PC, Windows 10.

I frequently film large projects with multiple cameras and create a multi-cam sequence from them. In the past I could toggle the icon at the top left of the timeline (insert and overwrite sequences as multiple clips) and it would either pull in the multi-cam sequence as seperate video tracks, or pull them in as a multi cam sequence on a single track.

Over the past few months it will no longer pull them in as seperate tracks, I can toggle it either way and it only pulls it in as a single multi-cam track. Am I missing something in my setting that will let me pull in a multi-cam sequence as all seperate video tracks into my timeline? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I've searched and tried everything I can think of and nothing is working.

The Insert Overwrite button is working fine on my side. So, try deleting cache files and resetting preferences.
