Question

How to remove a short foreground sound but maintain the longer background sound

So, I made a video out the window while landing in a plane.  It came out great, except that the one Flight Attendent forgot to secure one of the comisary carts and you can hear glass smash for about 3/4 of a second as we were slowing down on the runway.  It's a pretty obnoxious sound.  Is there any way of removing it or at least makie it not stand out so much?

I'm a high-level Novic on Premiere and have never dealt with audio editing, so please bear with me if I ask a million questions.

Just cut the audio and replace with some existing audio from the timeline.

That worked better than I expected.  I had a little pop where they meet, but a short 4-frame audio transition fixed that.

Thanks
