Question

How to remove cropping from oversized video or photo when using "overshoot" on transitions?

In Adobe Premiere, there are a lot of beautiful transitions. Some, like “Slide”, will slide my footage into the scene exactly where I need it. Great.

If I choose an animation setting with “Overshoot”, the Slide effect will come in farther than intended, and then settle back into position. this is what I want. However, the Slide effect will also crop the footage so that you can see an obvious edge, even if the original footage is larger than the final video’s resolution. Changing the footage’s position does nothing to remove the crop that the transition provides, and if I remove the transition, the cropping effect goes away.

Is there any way to remove this? I love the Overshoot bounciness, but not the cropping.
