How to stop proxies changing footage color?

Hi there,I am having trouble with creating proxies for my red footage. Whenever I create the proxies for the footage and toggle them on, the greens slightly increase. I tried the automatic proxy creation in premiere, and also making my own encoding and ingest presets for the proxies in media encoder but they both apply the same slight tone change. I feel like I am doing something wrong and would like to know if anyone else has a fix for this issue or knows where I went wrong, Thanks! Attatched is the color difference.

You don't use proxies as a final check of the look, that's always done with original media. And as the proxies are quite likely a different codec, the same corrections done to the original will probably not correlate on the proxies. Just ... that's the difference between the media.

So I'm puzzled about the issue. Why is it a concern? It doesn't show any problem with the project ... so ... ?
