i am unable to import psd file as layered document in premiere pro

i am unable to import psd file as layered document in premiere pro, it imports the entire file as one image. i am not getting any dialogue box to select various options like merge all layers, individual layers etc

- my premire pro is up to date.

- file that i am importing is psd

- earlier I was getting the option/dialogue box to select import prefrence but since i reinstalled the premiere pro it is giving me this type of issue.

Color space is set in Photoshop > Mode.

where can i set the color space?

Check the document's color space (should be RGB) and bit depth (better to be 8 bits per channel).

Could be, not sure.

Try to import into Premiere beta and see if it will give you the options.

tried resetting the preferences it does not solve the issue.

additional details - I am having Photoshop beta - is that an issue?
