Question

I am working on a collaborative project, Premiere is saying that the media is offline, but in the project panel it is not showing up as offline. The "link media" button does not work, as I can see it, but it does not give me the option to click it.

Hello!

I am currently working on a collaborative project, and we do not have our files in a shared drive, rather saving the matching ones to our own computers. When I open my collaborators timeline, it says all media is offline. However, in the project panel, it does not show the media as offline, and the “link media” button does not work (it doesn’t allow itself to be clicked at all.) I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to navigate this.

I do believe I am on a more recent version of Premiere than my collaborator, if that could be the issue.

    Hi Catherine,

Are you working on a Production or a Team Project? https://adobe.ly/4e12fhK Please give the community more information about the kind of project you are sharing and how you set it up? I hope we can help you.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Hello! So sorry for the late response.

We are working on a team project, and my collaborator set it up/shared it with me. The project doesn’t require that many clips, so we both downloaded the same ones and same audio file to our own computers. For reference as to what we are doing, my collaborator has aligned the video and audio as well as created the cuts, and wants me to add keyframes to what they have already created.

Thank you so much for your time.
