I can't get CEP extensions (or UXP) to work within Premiere.

Hi there. I’m a total noob when it comes to running scripts, coding, anything like that. I’m what you call an old fashioned do it yourself editor. BUT, I’m intrigued by the promise of the ai overlords offering their agentic coding. I’ve been chatting it up with Claude to help me write some automated processes, and we’ve hit wall after wall. It suggested I come visit my friends on the internet, and here is what it told me to share: 

• Premiere Pro 25.6.4 on Mac
• CEP extension in /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/
• PlayerDebugMode = 1 confirmed for CSXS 11, 12, and 13
• Correct manifest structure with PPRO host, version range [13.0,99.9]
• Extension not appearing in Window → Extensions
• No mention of the extension in CEP logs

So again, that mostly makes my eyes cross, but I’m doing as the overlords command. What I do know is that I keep hitting dead ends. I’m just exploring at this point, but maybe some of you out there have done a deep dive and can relate and share your wisdom. Thanks!
