Question

I can't shorten still photos to anything between 0.24-1 seconds

I'm trying to make a stop-motion video with lots of photos being very short. I want each photo to last about 0.8 seconds but when I go to change the speed, whilst using the slider as soon as it goes under 1 second it jumps to 0.24 seconds and I can't set it to anything inbetween. My timeline also goes from 0.24 straight into 1 seconds but also goes from 1.24-2 and 2.24-3 etc missing so I can't drag the photos to the right length either. Anyone know why the duration just skips outa large part of a second and how I can make each photo last 0.8 seconds? Thanks

You first need to understand how a timeline works

00:00:02:23 means 00 hours, 00 minutes, 2 seconds, 23 frames.

I dont know what the framerate is of the timeline but if its 24 frames/second it means just that. 24 frames in a second.

0.8 seconds on a 24 fps timeline means 19.2 frames > 20 frames.

0.8 seconds on a 30 fps timeline means 0.8x30 = 24 frames

That last number is the frames, not seconds. You're probably using a 24fps sequence.
