I can't work with Expansion

Why isn't the Expansion window active? I need to blur the edges of the mask, just like in version 25. Why did you remove such a useful feature? How can I soften the edges of the mask? Or is that no longer possible?

That is not object masking that is just plain masking.

Might want to read the documentation again on the difference between object masking (sharp or smooth) and the use of the rectangle/ellipse/pen tool.

Expansion is not available for Object mask Smooth only for Sharp.

Have you read the documention on the new masking system? If not, for you own sanity go do so! There’s a pop-up when you hover over the mask icon in the toolbar. Go there.

You can do so but in the Program monitor ... both expansion and feather are there and fully usable.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...
