I cannot import presets

My presets are on PRFPSET not XML, I have the most recent version of premiere pro, the trash preferences technique doesnt work. I've tried everything but when I click on import presets my presets I see them on file but when I click on it to import it it doesnt show up in premiere pro instead sometime I get some weird preset folder with weird names appearing but with nothing inside, I dont have this issue with my other computers despite the one that I am currently using being more recent and powerful.

Please help I pay way too much a year to have to deal with this man
