I cannot open an "older version" of a premiere pro file.

I worked on 2 projects yesterday, and today I cannot open them because they are "an older version"...is Divinci calling my name??? What is going on, this is the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened, and no clearing the media cash doesnt do anything. all the other posts Ive read on this are about an older version of Premier opening a newer project file...which, I totally dont understand how older version of premeier exist considering the subscription model adobe has...26.3.4 I believe is my version number
