i cant able to mask the image properly via pentool, as the mask is moving in awkward directions

whenever i take pentool and do masking , the mask moves slighty in awkward postion , why?

What sometimes happens is when you start creating a mask with pen and you place your cursor too close to the previosu point it rotates the mask.
