Question

I have a .mov and .mp4 file that cannot be read as video in the sequence I am trying to import it into, but reads as a video file in the source monitor.

I’m having issue with a specific video file being able to be added to my sequence as a video file.  All other files from the same shoot date are reading appropriately, and load video and audio. I’ve imported it twice, and also transcoded it from .mov to .mp4, and none of this does anything to permit me to drag it into my sequence as a video file.  The .mov file itself in my bin reads as a video and audio file that plays both in the source monitor, but I cannot drag the video down.

Make sure you have source patching turned on for V1 (left side of the lock icon in the Timeline).
