Hi
I have an issue. I was wondering if you could help. When I cut the clip / video the softwarre selects the clip on the left but I would like it to select the clip on the right of the marker. Is there a way to set it up this way. This makes me lose precious time when working.

From the menu, go to Sequence > Selection follows playhead and make sure it is checked.

The answer is no.

The cut is done on the last frame of the front section.

You can however hit arrow right, which will move the playhead 1 frame to the right.

If you have Selection follows playhead turned on, the clip op the right side will be selected automatically.

Thank you. Because with the previous softwares I used the right clip was generally selected, I assumed premiere pro could also be set up this way.
