Question

I have created a sequence with audio, video and text layers that I want to save to be used and edited everyday. Is there a way to save this sequence with all the base elements with out having to remake it everytime.

i’m using premiere 2026 and we use a base sequence for multiple newscast everyday.  This sequence has text, music and several graphic elements that stay the same other than getting moved around on the sequence and the text getting changed.  We then add video that changes from show to show.  We are currently using Avid and have a template saved with all the elements that we just drag in to a timeline.  Is there a way to do that in Premiere 2026?

Are you working in a Production? Which I would think you should be ... then it’s simple. Create a project with such things in it, and then when working on another project, simply drag/drop to the new project. No dupes or problems ... if you are working in a Production.

If not, I’m not sure why your shop wouldn’t be in Productions. Stand-alone project mode when working with ongoing multiple projects is simply a ridiculous waste of time.

    Everyone's mileage always varies ...
