Question

I have had problems with transcriptions in Premiere 2025.

I didn't have trouble with earlier versions.  I transcribed a live event recording in Premiere 2025. This new version seems to be making up dialogue and not including recorded dialogue. To me it seems like AI is trying to make people say what it thinks should be said and not transcribing what is being said. Any suggestions on fixing the problem with this new version would be helpful. If you want I can send what was generated and how I corrected it if you would like to compare.

Having a similar issue, and when I try to correct the transcrition in the text box, it will duplicate the sentence and keep the old/incorrect version. Which means I'll have to fix again when I export the transcript or create captions/subs. Major annoyance at the moment. It also seems to bog down when double clicking into the text box to edit text.

As a follow-up, this was for multicam clips. I've since been successful editing the transcription when opening the multicam clip at the sequence level and going into the text box and editing the transcription. So the work around right now is that to edit a multicam clip's transcript, you need open it as a sequence and make your edit in there.

It would be useful to be able to edit the transcription regardless of it being multicam or not since a lot of interviews are shot in this way.

I'm having the same problem.  I doesn't seem to understand english and adds names for words and words for names making the transcription section pretty much useless!! VERY FRUSTRATING!!
