Question

I/O boards for Premiere Pro and Creative Site

I am looking for a listing of I/O boards I can use with Premiere Pro and Creative Suite for ingest/playout of SDI video up to 4K.  I have not had any luck finding any info on the website so far and the CHAT session was a bust since I got passed around to 4-5 people who finalyy told me to come here.  I work for a broadcast systems integrator & will be installing both Premiere Pro and Creative Suite at thier facility.

On a related matter some of this sofware will be sharing the same CPU with the Grass Valley EDIUS product so I also need to find I/O boards that work with both.  I tried to enter the info here but it was deleted when I tried to post it.

Than you for any help you can provide.

If you stick with Blackmagic or AJA, the selection of a I/O will have much more to do with your hardware (connect via USB, Thunderbolt, PCIe) than the software. These two manufacturers are industry standard and will interface to all pro software.

Adobe is barely (not so much) able to keep up with testing nVidia and other graphics display cards... I have never heard of a list of equipment such as you need

You work as an integrator and you don't know AJA and BlackMagic?

Edius works with either, so does Premiere Pro

Yes I am familar with both Black Magic & AJA.  I was hoping to see a listing of what has been qualified by Adobe as working with Premiere Pro and Creative Suite.  Both make several products.  I know which ones work with GV EDIUS because they listed them on the spec sheet. Which ones work with Adobe?  Is there an official list?

you might check out blackmagic design.  https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/

If by any chance you're in New York City, you might stop by B and H photo.  You can also check out their website.
