I want to create a combination Teams and Productions project

Hello - I am collaborating with another editor on a feature film. We are both fully remote and have identical hard drives with the footage.

We want to create a Productions project so that we can both work on different reels at the same time. We also need to store this project on the cloud so that we can both access it and have it automatically update. That’s where Teams comes in… is it possible to create a Teams + Production project?

Otherwise we need to seek out a different Cloud software to store our Productions project. I have done this in the past with Google Drive but it didn’t automatically update very well. We could set up LucidLink but it seems like overkill if we are only going to be storing our Productions project there.

It’d be great if Adobe had some sort of solution for this!

@Christina27152685lv9w unfortunately there isn’t a way to combine Team Projects and Productions. If you want to collaborate remotely using a Production (which sounds like the right fit for your project), you need to host the Production in a shared storage solution that both you and any other editors on the project can see. LucidLink isn’t overkill – it’s great at being the hub to host your Production. You could also as you mentioned store it somewhere else like Google Drive, but, that can be slow to update as it’s not really designed for the real-time syncing that Productions expects. LucidLink on the other hand is designed for that and in our experience works well. So even if your media is cloned locally, it should work quite well to have your Production on something like LucidLink.
