i want to import a sequence from another project without importing and duplicating rawmaterial

- as the material is already in my project, and I don't want copies of it, but rather reconnect to the already existing and imported raw material

That's really easy to do in a Productions model workflow ... which I do, I've not done 'stand-alone' projects in several years now.

 

But not so easy in the old 'stand alone' model. You would need to manually handle that relinking, as far as I know. I'll be interested to see what best suggestions others can make.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

Yes, premiere doesn't even allow me to manually relink. Anytime I delete the duplicate raw material it's also erased from the sequence/timeline. Perhaps anyone knows if it could be done via AAF/XML/EDL?
