Question

Identifying and replicating effects in clip

Hello,

I'm 100% new to Premiere. Nonetheless I'm used to pick things up from the ground and build my knowledge. Also, I'm pretty determined to get this done!

This is the clip (its the same as the post anex):

https://www.dropbox.com/s/k05pdjjfxfc7quj/videoHQ.mp4?dl=0

It was created using an online service. Altough i enjoyed the effects very much, it doesnt support much editing and some of the text cuts off or is hard to see in some of the slides.

I've watched it several times and have identified what I believe are the following effects:

  • Blurred light leak effect on the background with animated text on top

  • Light leak effects blended into all the slides

  • Particle effects blended into all the slides

  • Zoom out effect following a logarithmic progression (faster in the beginning and slower mid way)

  • Horizontal and vertical transitions

  • Blur bar right after the transition, that "docks" on top or bottom, also following a logarithmic speed progression.

  • Background music

Do these look accurate? Any other effects that I might have missed?

The light leak and particle effects look simple enough to implement but the transition effects with nice zoom out effect and moving blur bar look harder from my standpoint.

Any help would be amazing!

PS: I'm using Premiere Pro CC version 13 (2019) for Windows 10

Most likely this is done in After Effect.

With a whole lot of work it can be done in Premiere.

By learning Premiere or After Effect bascs first before tackling such a project.
