iMac crashes with no prompt when using Premiere Pro CC 2018

My iMac 2013 (OS X El Capitan) works great with every other Adobe CC product but for the past few months it will randomly crash whenever running Premiere. It gives no warnings or prompts when it crashes. Another strange note is that I have to unplug my mac, after one of these crashes, and plug it back in for it to turn on. This doesn't happen any other time other than when I edit with Premiere which makes me think its a software problem. It is never during a specific time, like while exporting or rendering, so I have no idea what is causing the problem.

Hi,

Check system requirements, you need to update your macOS to Sierra or High Sierra (I recommend Sierra): Adobe Premiere Pro System Requirements

You can also check this article for resetting adobe folder permissions: Premiere Pro CC freezing on startup or crashing while working (Mac OS X 10.9, and later) | My great WordPress blog

Thanks,
Kevin
