image freezes

Question

I have a problem with Adobe Premiere. When I open this specific project, the image and audio freeze. Everything else works fine; I can move the timeline, but the image remains frozen.

This issue only occurs with this project; all other projects function normally.

Premiere Version: 24.2.1

Macbookpro M2 32gbRam

Troubleshooting:

Import in a new project

install fresh premiere

import sequence in a new project.

Import in a WINDOWS PC

It is very frustrating, my client is waiting for the changes because the premiere of the video is today, I can't believe Im here writing a post

I found the solution by installing an older version of Premiere. Adobe Premiere Pro is an industry standard, but the extended troubleshooting sessions were incredibly frustrating, consuming valuable time and hindering productivity. Like many others, I question the reliability of subscription-based software, particularly when compared to more stable alternatives like DaVinci Resolve. Having used DaVinci for four years without encountering such panic-inducing moments, I can't help but appreciate its reliability. Fortunately, everything is working well now, which is all that matters to me.
