Question

Image preview and render output looks the same when I added three different images.

Hey All, I import three different images in adobe premiere pro cc 2020 all of them are showing same preview in the library as well as in the Source Montior and Output Monitor. BUT those are three different images with different file names.

Eg: I have imported three files.

1. Elephant.   2. Monkey.  3. Deer

I put them in a single timeline NOT multiple tracks.

Eg: Elephant at 0:30, Monkey at 0:45, Deer at 0:55.

But if I keep the playhead at these three clips all of them showing "Elephant" in the output monitor.
Rendered output also shows the same.

Help me out please, I recently moved from FCPX. Not so familiar with Premier, am I missing something?

Manually deleting media cache should help

Open in Photoshop and resave the images.

Make sure they are 8 bit rgb.

All of them are RGB 8 bit. I doubt the file format can make such difference.

Seen this issue before. Resaving usually does the trick.

Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/faq-how-to-clean-delete-or-trash-media-cache-files/td-p/....

If that doesn't work, try resaving the images in Photoshop and then import them into Premiere Pro again.

If that doesn't work, try resetting the preferences:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/faq-how-to-reset-trash-preferences-in-premiere-pro/td-p/8236158?page=1

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/workspaces.html

If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.

Thanks for the help. I tried 1st and 2nd methods. Issue remains the same.

I'll try 3rd step later. 🙂

Thanks!
