Images not showing on timeline after update on Premier and macOS

Hi there, I udated recently my mac to Tahoe 26.5, and had issues with premier. I had to delete all the apps and instal them again. Still, when I opened one of my projects, one of the images ‘ image strip with extension tiff’, does not show on the timeline, instead I have a red bar. I already rendered in and out and deleted the files, but it did not solve the issue. Any tip? Many thanks

Perfect! Note to the OP: not a tiff, a psd.

Try opening the file in Photoshop and save it as a PSD and import that into Premiere.

I tried to import the tiff file to photoshop onweb, but it was not possible. On desktop version, I think that we do not have that option.

What happens if you import the file again, does the imported file work then? If it works you can just use that to replace the one that don´t work.

Thank you for your help. I tried to import it but received the error message ‘file cannot be opened due to an header error’. I then tried to change the profile, name, etc but did not work. Then, I exported the tiff as png and it did not work. I received the error message ‘file video dimensions too large’…. It is very tricky that, everytime, adobe releases a new version, we lose all the projects and have to start again… It was working before. I just wanted to update the credits on the video...

@oubapou0D4C When updating it is many times better to create a brand new project in the new version and import the old project into it. File > Import and just select the project file, iow *.prproj.

Reagrding Photoshop, you should open the file, not import. Just open the file and save the file.
