Impoprted videos and images scale is too big

Question

When I import footage, whether it be from my iPhone or DSLR, they look fine in the source preview, but then I add them to the timeline the footage is not even in the same shape, but the footage seems to be very zoomed in. When I adjust the scale (which is at 100) down so the video or photo fits the timeline viewer ("Program: ___") it appears to be very distorter. This has not always been an issue. What could be causing this? And how do I fix it?

What are your sequence settings?(Menu Sequence > Sequence settings)Are your sequence settings what you want/what you expect them to be?If not, in the Project Panel, drag one of your DSLR source clips to the New Item Icon at the lower right of the pane and release. A new sequence with matching settings should be created.MtD
