Import Effect Presets Not Saving

Effects presets will import & work just fine, but they do not save after I exit premiere pro. It doesn't matter which project file it is on. Presets I make will save, but not the ones I'm importing. I've already tried resetting preferences but that didn't solve my issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Weird behavior. I have just tested this using @Jarle Leirpoll's Presets 4.0 and after import and rebooting PPro, they appear just fine in the presets folder in the Effects Panel.

Are you sure you have first unzipped the folder with the presets? Could be that the program cannot handle zipped content...

I import the presets and work fine!!!

I move them to a different folders and rename, works fine.

I restart the program after this changes and the program saves the settings ok!!! Or maybe not, it depends the program, sometimes save the changes made and sometimes don't.

Why? We don't know, and this happens to many many people.

Also the same here. Having the same problem with the program monitor buttons not saving and LUTs as well.

I have the exact same bug with PP 23.1 on Windows 11.

What exactly do you mean by: they do not save.

Where?

Might want to give more info. Workflow, OS, Premiere version and build, comp specs?

An effect preset I downloaded from someone else will not remain in the presets folder after exiting premiere. I'll import the preset, exit the project, then reopen it, and the presets I imported will be gone.

Attached is a picture of an example preset pack that I downloaded (Jarle's Presets). If I leave premiere, the folder will be gone, only the default premiere presets will remain.

Using windows 11 home and premiere version 23.1

Tried it: dont stick either.

It does say: presets for Pr 2018

I am guessing some presets for effects that are no longer in the program.
