Import media directly in bins not working

Since the new update, when I right click in my clip bin to import a clip, it goes into the general "project" folder, and not in the bin I created.  IE: Audio, into my Audio folder.  Thanks, ~ Gib.

Assuming this still isn't fixed, ANY workarounds (short of going through another update) would be GREATLY appreciated.

I am also having this issue on my iMac (10.11.6). My imports are going consistently into the same bin (albeit not the bin I want), not into the main project window as other users have reported.

Cheers

Yep, same bug for me. Also, when I make a new sequence in my sequence bin. It pops up in the general project folder, instead of my sequence folder.  Very frustrating bug.

I thought this bug might be fixed in the new update, but apparently, it's still not. Please put this at the top of the heap. It's kind of a pain.

There seems to be some sort of bug with importing into bins.

Please file a bug report.

Open the bin you want imported media to go in.

I do, but it won't go in there.

How are you opening the bin?  I've never seen media go anywhere but the currently opened bin.
