Import option does not see my MP4 files

Hi,

Im new to using the premier pro suite. When I looked to import my MP4 files on my pc - the folder in which they are saved does not show the MP4 files to import.

I would apprecaite any help or advise on how I can get premier pro to see my saved MP4 files? I am on a trial version as I wanted to test how well this app works before I Commit to purchase so perhaps I am missing something obvious.
