Import tab not showing all relevant files

When I click on the Import button I get very few file options to import, however if I go to the File tab and select Import I see all the possible supported files in my computer.

I don't see anything thar solves this issue. I've been using PP for several years and before some of the newer updates the "Import, " "Export, " and "Graphics" buttons weren't even shown outside the File menu. It's an easy workaround just to go directly into the File menu to import files, but this issue is telling me there are things I do not know how to utilize in the latest version.
