Imported effect from After Effects not appearing in program window

Question

I'm using the 2023 versions of both Premiere Pro and After Effects on Windows 10. When I import a composition with a text effect from After Effects to Premiere Pro, the effect only plays on the source monitor when I preview the clip there (and even there, the text effect glitches strangely). As soon as I move the clip to my timeline and try to play it on the program monitor, the text effect doesn't appear. This happens whether I import it through file upload or as an Adobe Dynamic Link, and rendering the clip on the timeline doesn't make a difference. I've also tried restarting both programs and my computer.

I've attached screenshots of both the glitching text effect (which doesn't happen on After Effects) and of the two windows.

I'd really appreciate any advice for how to fix this.

Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

Then try pressing Enter to render the timeline and turn the red line above the timeline to green.
