Imported video clip freezes after one minute

I imported a clip, but only the first minute of the video plays. the audio is there, but after one minute, the clip freezes. If i open the clip with any other software, the full clip shows up, and all the other clips i have imported work as they should. I havent done anything to the clip, and i have also looked at the source version on premiere, but the same "bug" happens there.

Have any of you had the same thing?

(i have the newest version of Premiere, and i have tried clearing preferences and restarting the software.)

Here is a screenshot of the clip that is causing the issue. (RUST 2019.01.19 - 19.09.53.25.DVR.mp4 )

The part where there are lines going across are completely black. If i use VLC or any other media playback program, the clip plays normally, and the whole thing has video and audio. As soon as i import the clip to Premiere, it stops playing video after exactly 53 seconds. Only one of the audio clips keep playing, the other audio clip stops, and so does the video.

I have tried re installing Premiere, changing my rendering setting to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only, re-importing the clip but nothing seems to work. I was also talking to support for 2 hours last night, but they were unable to solve the issue.

Entire timeline has red bar: does your sequence setting match the footage.

Or render the timeline (green) or make the aep footage into a intermediate file from Ae and put that on the timeline.

For the clip with the diagonal stripes: the in and outpoint do not match.

    Make the clip offline

Move it to a different location on the hdd

    relink.

    See how that goes.
