Imported video has audio but when i trim the video and drag into sequence the audio is gone.

When i import a video into premiere and play the video it has audio. I can drag the untrimmed video into the sequence and it will have audio but when i trim the clip the audio does not appear in the sequence. I cant even drag the 'audio only' option. Please help as i need an answer ASAP. Thanks!

Where are you playing the untrimmed video from?

Where are you trimming the clip and dragging it from?

Where are you trying to drag the audio only from?

I suspect you do not have your sequence tracks targetted,
