Imported Video Strangely Wavy

Hi all!

Trying to figure out an issue I haven't run into before in Premiere. When importing an MPEG-4 video (1920x1080, data rate 3722kbps, total bitrate 4040kbps, and frame rate 29.97, if it matters) the footage is slightly 'wobbly' and distorted. This video is mostly slideshow text filmed live on Zoom, and both in editing and after exporting the letters seem to 'twitch' or 'jump' slightly. I've tried to work with two different versions of the file - one downloaded straight from YouTube, and another which was edited by a different user before - but the problem persists both ways. The other video clips I'm working with in this project don't display the same distortion during editing or after exporting.

Has anyone else experienced video distortion like this, or have pointers on how to fix?

Edit: Solved by importing the problematic video clip into a new project, copying the 'Sequence Settings' for it, and then adjusting the Sqeuence Settings on the first project to match. Seems to have cleared the issue up!

Please use the free MediaInfo and post a screenshot the properties of your media in tree view:

If the file is variable frame rate, which although Adobe says it will support, many users are having issues with VFR.

Use Hand brake to convert to constant frame rate:
