Importing AE composition with editable text layer in PP appears jerky

Hi there,

I have made some lower third animations in AE with different effects applied to it. When I import the composition to PP, and edit the text layer, it jumps forth and back from the original text to the new one, even when it has been rendered. As if it can't really read the effects and the new text at the same time? Is there some kind of bug in the late cc2017 update?
