Question

Importing DJI Mavic Pro jumping footage (Not in CS5.5) NEED HELP!

I just got the Mavic Pro and when i import footage to Premiere Pro CC 2017 then the footage is jumpy on some frames.

I think Premiere is trying to fill in for the missing frames the Mavic didn't record. The drone is known for having dropping frames but in CS5.5 it's working fine.

Here's an example:

This is what it should be: (Edited in CS5.5)

It looks like it's trying to compensate for the missing frame with other (previous) frames. In the original footage, the moment the issues occurs, there are two frame's identical to eachother.

I don't have a big issue with the frame dropping the mavic makes because it's not very noticable but if CC 2017 keeps doing this, then i can't use it...

Someone with a solution?

I dont think its a Mavic issue, but rather a 2017 issue.

Seen this with my own canon footage.

I converted the file in AE to Cineform: then it was ok.
