Importing from icloud to projects with different logins

Question

I am learning Premiere Pro and cannot figure out how to import photos from my iCloud, which is a different login.  How do I access photos using my Apple ID when my Premiere account is an entirely different email address?

Save the photos locally to where you are storing everything for the project.

I recommend having the images in a folder named "Source Footage" for photos in the same folder as the Premiere Pro project file that has a descriptive name for the overall project.

If the photos are in the Files location of your iCloud Drive, just copy the over.

With iPhone photos ranging from between 12 MP, 24 MP, and 48 MP, give some consideration to how much resolution (frame size) that you actually need. 1080p is about 2 megapixels and 2160p is about 8MP. It may be worth down-converting duplicates of high megapixel photos to improve performance in the Timeline.
