Question

Importing markers from audio recording into Premiere

Hi everyone,

I'm doing some long interview recording (8 or so hours per day) and to streamline my work I'm thinking of using a separate recorder that can take markers -- so when the respondent says something interesting, I can just tap the marker throughout the day.  Then my idea would be to sync that audio with my camera audio, and have a series of markers in Premiere.

Except, I'm not sure how to get markers from an audio recorder into Premiere's marker format.  Does anyone have a recommendation for recording app, (or a hardware recorder) to use, and the process for this?

I'd by any iOS app if need be.  My Zoom H6 also makes markers, although similarly I'm not sure in what format it saves them.

Thanks.

What a shame that nobody ever helped. I have the same question, I'm using a Zoom H6 and Premiere Pro doesn't import Markers from Zoom Recorders. I can see them in Audition, but not in Premiere. If I export the audio again from Audition, then Premiere import it correctly.

I'll have to open all audio files in Audition and export again to have my markers?
