Importing "mogrts" from After Effects leads to error message

Here is a problem we are experiencing on all our installations:

In AE, I create a simple AComp (3 text layers, one solid rectangle).

From there, I open the new "essential graphics panel" and drag some properties into it.

I save and export a "Mogrt" Template to a local drive (or a library, results do not vary).

On the same machine, I create a new Premiere Pro project.

I open the Essential Graphics Panel and import the *.mogrt file. (Alternatively, I tried using a library)

The template then shows up in the list successfully.

But as soon as I try to drag it into a timeline, I get a progress bar showing 15% completion, then this message pops up:

So, obviously, I have After Effects on that same machine. Also, I checked the versions:

So, I am quite sure there is no version mismatch.

As this happens on all our installations (windows 7 and 10):

Can anyone confirm this behavior?

Is there a solution?

Things I already tried:

- Logging out and back in from CC

- install a trial version (not possible if a license already exists)

- uninstalled all older versions of PPro and AE.

Thanks!

Manuel

I've had the same issue, I've managed to get it working by changing the name of the template, or adding everything into a new comp and creating the controls again.

I'm glad they're working on something to fix this, it's a very annoying bug.

Just spoke to Adobe support regarding this issue.  I saw there was an update for PP released today, and installed it, but it didn't correct it.  They said it was a "known" issue and that an update to correct it is in the works.  He gave an estimate of 10 days.  Good to know that a fix is in the works, but I have to say it would be nice if Adobe would say that on the several threads regarding this issue on the forums so people aren't floundering around trying to troubleshoot it.

Thanks, @WHMB TV,

yesterday Steve Forde from Adobe came to see us and he guessed that it could be a problem with international OS versions...

Well, let's see what they will come up with!

Sorry, I just realized, that chrise90749113

asked the same question... So, please consider this a "mee too" post...

I might add some installation data:

Windows 7 /10 (German)

HP Z840 Machines

We use "english international" as a CC-App-language setting everywhere.
