Importing more than 2 files make timeline window freeze

Hi!

I recently updated to Premiere Pro 23 (Build 63). Since this version importing a third file to the project make the timeline window "freeze". The time marker will not move, selections are not displayed, toggling of buttons not displayed, etc... But in the background, the clicks will be processed and take effect.

If I remove the third imported file, the timeline window turns back to normal.

This happens with any video files and also on directly new created projects.

Does anyone have experienced the same issue with Premiere Pro 23?

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create new project

2. Import file and move it to the timeline

3. Import another file -- everything still fine

4. Import another file -- timeline window not working properly

Thanks so far!

It seems that a fresh install solved the problem. But it is important that you also delete the configuration!

First I did a fresh install but kept the configuration and the problem still existed.

Apparently the update from 22 to 23 corrupted some configuration files.

Really strange. Regardless, it's fixed!
