Question

In Adobe Premiere Pro, how do I get the masking lines to show while editing?

After finding the pen masking tool, I tried creating a shape, but no visible indication. So I created a rectangle, which I have no indication is there other than I can move an invisible mask with no borders. My simple question is, how do I get the border of my mask to show?

Just go to the online help for the masking, which is a fairly short read ... and which you see the link to if you hover over the masking tool. Faster than explaining everything again.

Thank you R Neil Haugen for replying to my post and all the other posts I've seen you post on. None of that has helped my with issue, but thank you for the reading material.

@PharaohsPhotos Hey, I totally get how different this is! I always have the public beta installed on my desktop, and routinely check out what’s ‘over there’ so I get a bit of headstart on likely coming changes.

So I’ve had the chance to go ... what the …? ... as anyone else does at first. But when you get past the first oddness of it, and start getting into using it, there are far more things you can mask now in Premiere than you ever could before.
